Terms & Conditions
1. General
By booking an appointment or authorizing work, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions. All services are performed with reasonable care and industry-standard practices.
2. Estimates & Pricing
All estimates are based on the vehicle's visible condition at the time of inspection.
Additional charges may apply if undisclosed damage, excessive contamination, previous repairs, or aftermarket modifications are discovered during the service.
Any additional work will be discussed with the customer before proceeding whenever possible.
3. retainers & Bookings
A retainer may be required to secure an appointment.
Retainers are non-refundable.
Appointments may be rescheduled with sufficient notice, subject to availability.
4. Vehicle Condition
Existing paint defects, scratches, dents, rock chips, repainting, oxidation, or other imperfections may remain visible after installation.
The customer must disclose any known previous paintwork, body repairs, ceramic coatings, wraps, or PPF installations before work begins.
5. Paint Protection Film (PPF)
PPF is designed to protect against everyday road hazards but is not indestructible.
Minor installation marks, moisture pockets, and haziness are normal during the curing process and generally disappear within several days or weeks depending on environmental conditions.
Film edges may be visible depending on the vehicle design and installation method.
Film removal may expose pre-existing paint defects or poorly adhered repainting. We are not responsible for paint lifting caused by previous repairs, repainting, factory paint defects, or weakened paint adhesion.
Any approved refund is conditional upon the vehicle being returned to the same condition it was in immediately before installation began, with the PPF fully removed by RM Auto Spa. No refund will be issued if:
The customer has altered, damaged, or tampered with the installed PPF or ceramic coating.
The vehicle has been serviced, repaired, or modified by another party in a way that affects the installation.
The customer fails to provide RM Auto Spa with a reasonable opportunity to inspect and remedy any workmanship concerns before requesting a refund.
Any goodwill refund approved by RM Auto Spa is made at the sole discretion of the business and does not constitute an admission of fault or liability.
6. Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coatings improve gloss, chemical resistance, and ease of maintenance but do not make the vehicle scratch-proof or chip-proof.
Proper maintenance is required to maximize coating performance.
Water spotting, improper washing, neglect, or environmental contamination are not covered under any warranty.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to follow all aftercare instructions, including:
Avoid washing the vehicle for the recommended curing period.
Do not use abrasive chemicals or automatic brush car washes.
Maintain the vehicle using recommended washing methods and products.
Attend any recommended maintenance inspections if required for warranty coverage.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may negatively impact the vehicle’s finish and hinder the performance of protective products.
8. Warranty
Where applicable, warranty coverage is limited to defects in materials or workmanship during installation.
The warranty does not cover:
Accidents or collisions.
Stone chips or road debris.
Abuse, neglect, vandalism, or misuse.
Improper maintenance.
Environmental damage, including bird droppings, tree sap, hard water spots, industrial fallout, or chemical contamination.
Damage caused by third parties.
Warranty claims must be inspected by our company before any repairs or replacement are authorized.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of vehicle use, transportation costs, or lost income.
10. Abandoned Vehicles
Vehicles not collected within the agreed period may incur storage fees. Vehicles left beyond the legally permitted period may be handled in accordance with applicable local laws.
11. Payment
Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Vehicles may not be released until payment has been received in full.
12. Photography
We may photograph or record vehicles before, during, and after service for documentation, warranty purposes, quality control, and marketing. Customers may request in writing that their vehicle not be used for marketing purposes.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, supplier delays, equipment failure, power outages, or other unforeseen events.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the business operates.
15. Acceptance
By approving the estimate, paying a deposit, or authorizing work, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
